FREE Software Pre-Loaded

We have assembled a collection of free software for Mac OSX and Windows consisting of:

1. Free Software recommended by TKI Software for Learning web site.
   Many of the TKI recommendations refer to interactive web sites (such as blogs) where a download is not feasible. Where there is a file available, though, we have it.
2. Free software recommended by Educcomp.
   These titles have been chosen carefully with regard to whether they would be useful to teachers in classrooms, are well known, recommended by others and known to be hassle-free. Some of these are upgraded /updated files which TKI recommends, but which have been superseded. A prime example is the well-known OpenOffice (Windows) and NeoOffice (Mac). Since Sun Microsystems abandoned the project, it has been taken over by others and further developed as LibreOffice. We have included four versions of LibreOffice, three for different Mac OS's and one for Windows. We have also included the manual in PDF.
3. A few 30-day trial downloads of popular titles that teachers may not have come across but are truly liked by other teachers (such as I Can Animate v.2).

The total collection amounts to just under 4GB.
