Literacy Bank Overview

The design of the Literacy Bank series enables teachers to track the progress of pupils, making it a valuable management tool, assisting teachers in the organisation, delivery and monitoring of the twenty minutes of 'Independent Work' incorporated into the Literacy Lesson.

The Printable Worksheets allow you to print a worksheet for every activity. The worksheets themselves have been smartly formatted. Over 150 different worksheets are available for class work, revision, testing or homework. The worksheets have been
designed to print at A4 size, portrait orientation.

* A teacher's section that allows the teacher to:
* set only those activities to which they wish pupils to be allowed access to appear on the main activity menu
* track and report student progress, by date and by NLS objective
* generate plain-English reports, which will say how each student has done on each objectives
* student reports as text files
* print all activities as smartly formatted worksheets
* set the desktop character or theme - choosing from Ralph the Robot, Poppy the Penguin or a more neutral interface with a set of male and female characters of multicultural origin
* enter students’ names or groups so that students or groups simply choose their names from the list when subsequently logging in OR
* allow students to enter their own names
