GFI MailArchiver for Exchange is an easy-to-use email archiving solution that enables you to archive all internal and external mail into a single SQL database. GFI MailArchiver for Exchange leverages the journaling feature of Exchange Server 2000/2003 and therefore provides unparalleled scalability and reliability at a competitive cost. Exchange Server journals all mail to a particular mailbox, after which GFI MailArchiver retrieves the mail, compresses the attachments and archives them to Microsoft SQL server. For licensing purposes, MailArchiver counts all users in the Active Directory (AD) domain that have email addresses. You can exclude specific mailboxes in the MailArchiver console to reduce the number of licenses needed.
