Browse Reporter runs independently of Browse Control.
Browse Control is not needed to run Browse Reporter.

Report and analyze your user’s internet activity. View access logs by user or PCBrowseReporter captures the link (URL) of every visited web site through Internet Explorer. For remote surveillance of networked PCs the information can be sent silently to the central database server. In the stealth mode, BrowseReporter does not show up in the system tray, task bar, or task list. It allows schools to track the surfing habits of all PCs and users easily and invisibly. It logs the visited web site, user name, IP addresses, computer name and access times, into a password-protected encrypted file. This is very useful for schools wanting to monitor any number of computers or students.
